All guests must be 18 years of age or older to check into the hotel. Minors must be accompanied by adults at all times.

ID is required upon check-in. Please be sure to have proper form of identification such as a valid passport or driver’s license.

  • Once the reservation is made you will be billed 100% of the rate. Charges will be made any time after reservation is performed. This charge will be made manually to the credit card provided.
  • Any customer who does not arrive for their stay will be marked as “NO SHOW”. He/she will not be entitled to a refund.
  • If you cancel 7 days BEFORE the check-in date you will be entitled to a 100% refund.
  • If you cancel WITHIN 7 days or do not arrive to your stay, you will not be entitled to any refund.
  • If you change the date within 7 days of arrival you will still not be entitled to any refund. You will have the option to change the date. You will be allowed only one change of date. Prices vary according to season. The client will have to pay the price difference according to the date chosen.
  • Reservations labeled as non-refundable/non-cancellable incur in a fee equal to full deposit regardless the date in which the cancellation is requested.
  • No refunds will be given if you decide to make a last-minute change. If for any reason the client does not pay the balance due, the reservation will be cancelled immediately.
  • No money will be refunded once the client has checked in, regardless of the reason. No exceptions will be made.
  • We reserve the right of admission.
  • Check In: 4:00pm on. Check-out is at 11:00am.
  • At the time of check in the client must show identification and credit card provided in the reservation.
  • Requestind early check in and late checkout is subject to availability. The client must contact the frontdesk.
  • After 11:00am you will be billed $30.00 per hour until 3:00pm.
  • After 3:00pm you will be billed for the full day.
  • Only customers who provide a credit card will be allowed to open accounts in our restaurant. They must sign all receipts provided by our employees for open accounts.
  • Prior to check out the customer will be notified of any outstanding balances. Any outstanding balances will be automatically billed to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

We accept Visa, Master Card and cash.

Gift certificates are available. Original gift certificate must be presented at check in. No photocopies or pictures will be allowed, must follow all hotel policies.

  • The cost per lost key is $30.00. The charge for lost TV and A/C control is $50.00.
  • All rooms are inventoried and delivered clean. All damaged, vandalized or missing linens (towels, fitted, pillow, sheets, pillowcases, or other room items) will be charged a $10.00 charge. Comforters will be charged $30.00. Incidental charges will be billed manually to the credit card provided if necessary.
  • Any late check-out will be charged $30.00 per hour. If you exceed 3:00pm you will be billed the full rate.
  • Late check out requests are subject to availability. Guest must contact the front desk. After 11:00am you will be billed $30.00 per hour until 3:00pm. After 3:00pm you will be billed for the full day.
  • Room changes may have an additional cost.

We have refrigerators in the rooms. The entry of coolers is prohibited.

  • Rates are based on single and double occupancy. There will be an additional charge of $35 USD per person, per night, for the third and fourth person in the rooms.
  • Maximum occupancy is 2 guests on all rooms.

Security cameras have been installed to ensure the safety of tenants, monitor the activities of tenants and employees. They have been placed in public areas. No cameras have been placed in guest rooms, public restrooms, guest room bathrooms, and/or guest room balconies. These cameras have the facility to focus, wide field of view, record for 24 hours 7 days a week. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. assumes responsibility for the conservation and control of access and disposition of the recorded material.

  • Pool hours are from 10:00am-10:00pm.
  • Towels for the use of the pool must be requested at the front desk.
  • We do not have lifeguards; swimming is at your own risk.
  • Use of the pool outside of the established hours is prohibited. If you do so, you will be notified and asked to leave the facilities without the right to a refund.
  • Use of the pool is for registered guests only. You must shower before entering the pool. Eating inside the pool is not allowed. Glass is not allowed inside the pool. Children are not allowed to run around the pool, in hallways or stairs. No hand games or pushing and shoving threats are allowed around the pool. Under no circumstances are children allowed alone in the pool without adult supervision.
 
  • Room service during your stay will be provided any time after 9:00am. Your bed will be picked up as long as there are no items on the bed, trash will be thrown away and towels will be replaced if you place them on the floor as per our green hotel policy.
  • Real candles, stoves and any type of fire generating devices are not allowed inside the room.

Parking is free and limited. If parking is not available on the premises, you may park in the vicinity of the facility. We are not responsible for lost items inside the car and damage to your car.

Only ADA-compliant service animals are welcome. The hotel must be notified at the time of booking.  If we identify a pet in your room that has not been registered, your credit card will be billed fifty dollars per day.

The use of personal loudspeakers is prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests and keep your tone of voice moderate both day and night. This way we can all enjoy a pleasant stay!

Guests will be charged a 5% resort fee, per night, that includes: self-parking; in-room coffee; in-room bottled water; credit card services, housekeeping services when requested.  

Only customers who provide a credit card will be allowed to open accounts in our restaurant. They must sign all receipts provided by our employees for open accounts.

Prior to check out the customer will be notified of any outstanding balances. If there are any outstanding balances, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be automatically billed.

  • Please protect property. Damage to property will be billed to the customer according to the damage incurred to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
  • Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for items or money lost on the property.
  • Please ask at the entrance for designated smoking areas.
  • No smoking in the rooms.
  • Smoking in the rooms is subject to a charge of one hundred and fifty dollars.

Rental cars are recommended. We do not offer airport transfers or shuttles.

  • We have implemented sanitization protocols committed to your safety, health and well-being. We will be regularly sanitizing chairs, tables, furniture, tops and anything else that comes in contact with people.
  • We have placed our furniture guaranteed 6 feet of social distancing.
  • We have set up hand sanitizer stations for your convenience.
  • We have posted signage throughout the property to raise awareness of mask use, social distancing and hand washing.

Hours are subject to change without previous notification.
  • La Jamaca is an eco-lodge. We recycle plastic and aluminum. Please deposit in the appropriate blue bins.
  • It is recommended that all air units be maintained at 72 degrees.
  • Air conditioning units and lights will be turned off while you are not using the room.
  • Please use your judgment in the use of electricity in the room by turning off lights when they are not needed and also use your judgment when using the high energy consuming irons and hair dryers.
  • Estancia La Jamaca Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left something of value for yourself, please call us immediately at 787-899-6162 and we will attempt to help you locate your lost item.
  • Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for any item left by a guest. However, any items, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after check-out by housekeeping will be picked up, checked out and stored in a safe place for the owner to pick up for up to 30 days. A reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. Perishable items, undergarments and miscellaneous toiletries will be discarded.
  • We will be happy to return your lost item(s) to you via the United States Postal Service. Your credit card will be charged for packaging and postage plus a $10.00 handling fee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for any items lost or misdirected during shipment by the United States Postal Service.
  • Lost and found items are held for 30 days while we attempt to contact the guest. If we are unable to contact the guest during the fourteen 30-day waiting period, unclaimed items are discarded or disposed of as appropriate.
  • We are prepared with a generator in case of power outage.
  • We are prepared with water tant reservoirs in case of water outage.

We welcome visitors. They must be accompanied by a registered guest. Visitors may use or stay in the rooms, pool, Las Tinas Spa for an additional fee.

  • No parties, personal speakers or unnecessary loud talking to registered guests is permitted. Be respectful and empathetic to other guests on the property. Only private parties or pre-arranged events are allowed on the property.
  • Estancia La Jamaca Inc. enforces a No Room Party Policy to ensure that we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. Parties, loud disturbances and/or disturbing noises are not permitted or tolerated in these facilities. In case of disturbances, a polite request will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund.
  • In case of emergency please immediately call 911.
  • The hotel is fully equipped with smoke detectors and emergency evacuation plans on each room door. Please review this important information on the door of your room.
